Burun Estetiği Rinoplasti Burun Ameliyatı

Rhinoplasty surgery is performed to shape the nasal bones and cartilage. During this procedure, nasal bones and cartilage may be cut, broken, or reshaped. However, these procedures do not prevent the growth of nasal bones and cartilage.

Nasal enlargement after rhinoplasty may occur in the following cases:

  • Scope of the surgery:  The wider the scope of the surgery, the higher the risk of nose enlargement. For example, the risk of nose growth after a surgery in which only the tip of the nose needs to be shaped will be lower than the risk of nose growth after a surgery in which the nasal bone and cartilage also need to be shaped.
  • Individual characteristics of the person:  A person’s age, skin type and general health condition may affect the risk of nose growth after rhinoplasty. For example, older people may have a higher risk of nasal enlargement after rhinoplasty because their skin is thinner.
  • Surgeon’s experience:  An experienced surgeon can perform rhinoplasty surgery more successfully. Therefore, the risk of nasal enlargement after rhinoplasty may be higher in surgeries performed by an inexperienced surgeon.

In case of nose enlargement after rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty surgery may be required. It is important that revision rhinoplasty surgery be performed by an experienced surgeon.

It is important for people considering rhinoplasty surgery to carefully evaluate the risks and benefits of the surgery and choose an experienced surgeon.
