RHINOPLASTY IS A SURGICAL PROCEDURE PERFORMED TO CHANGE THE SHAPE AND SIZE OF THE NOSE. THIS SURGERY IS GENERALLY A SAFE PROCEDURE FOR HEALTHY ADULTS. HOWEVER, IN SOME CASES, RHINOPLASTY SURGERY CANNOT BE PERFORMED.

  • People with allergies:  Rhinoplasty surgery may cause more complications in people with allergies.
  • People who smoke:  Smoking can slow down the healing process and increase the risk of complications.

It is important for people considering rhinoplasty surgery to inform their doctor if they have any of the following conditions:

  • Allergies
  • Bleeding disorders
  • Diabetes
  • Heart disease
  • Lung disease
  • Cancer treatment
  • Drug allergies
